AT Transformer
An autotransformer is installed between the feeder line and the overhead line in alternating current AT power feeding. By connecting in series 2 magnet wires wrapped around the same core and leading out a center point terminal, this transformer can supply electric power to railway trains while maintaining voltage between the overhead line and the rail, and between the rail and the feeder line.
